What a busy weekend.... Saturday, Allen and I did some intense cleaning. Since we didn't have dining room furniture, the dining room had been a kind of storage area for some of the things that were waiting for a home in our bed room when it was finished. Next weekend, my MIL is being kind enough to donate her dining room to our cause (Thank you!!). It took a while to clear it all out and later today, my mission is to give the hardwood floors a deep clean. It should be happy to be used for its intended purpose in the near future:)

Yesterday was another intensely busy day...it was my little sister's bridal shower. I am the matron of honor, so I organized it with her maid of honor. We had a really great time, but boy was it tiring. There were about 35 ladies there and everyone was very lively. I think the crowning moment of the afternoon was the toilet paper bridal gown contest. What a laugh!!!
