After making some really yummy burritos (I am doing good on my diet so far this year), I made my first attempt at cording. Allen was a bit confused at why I wanted to borrow his cordless screwdriver. The cording turned out surprisingly well and really spruced up my Garden Exchange piece. To end my evening of stitching, I put in 2.5 hours of work on Celtic Winter. Her skirt is really filling out. Maybe I will even catch up with Becky and Carol... not a chance:)
Tomorrow night is on to Becca's wedding sampler, which is quite appropriate as her friends and I are starting to plan her bridal shower. Your progress on both pieces looks great :)
I am happy to hear that you had success with the cording :) I can't wait to see everyone's Garden Exchange :)
Both are looking great!
I've decided I really and truly don't like exchanges at all - no-one can post piccies of their happy dances, and I'm feeling very impatient ;) Can't wait to see the exchange pieces for both the garden and valentines ones. At least we could see your progress piccies for your WIPs, though - and they're both looking great :)
