Boy do I love the weekend...Allen and I had a nice relaxing day at home today. We slept in (if Cooper had had his way we would have slept a lot longer), ate a leisurely breakfast and did pretty much nothing all day. Laundry and dishes did get done out of necessity though:)

After breakfast, I sat down to stitch on Mystery IX while watching Allen shoot zombies on his Game Cube. Combine that with a toasty fire and you have a perfect Saturday. I was kind of hoping that the mailman would have the Christmas gift I ordered from ABC Stitch using the gift certificate I got from my sister and some gift money to myself for the holiday. No luck though, but I should have a nice surprise waiting on Monday.

I am quite proud of the progress I made on my Mystery this afternoon. I finished all but the beading and back stitch on the four sides and got about half way done on the top right corner. Here is my progress:
Tomorrow, I am going to kit up my Valentine Exchange and start stitching that and the Lilies piece I picked for the Magazine Mania SAL. I may also work on finishing my Mystery IX tryout piece into a flat fold.

Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!!!

Mystery IX is coming along beautifully :) I can't wait to see how it progresses :) I've just got my fabric washed ready for the Magazine Mania SAL too - that means no excuses left to start ;)
